I just finished this one last night but it still needs some buttons that I will have to special order later. Since this piece is a part of my Crazy January Challenge 2011 I have now 5 pieces out of 15 finished.
Like usual I have been stitching like crazy 😀 Sorry for the lack of blogging though!
Like I told you in my last blog entry I went to a cabin in the country side with my 2 best friends for a weekend of stitching. I love those weekends and of course we had the best time together. I worked on the 2 pieces below but didn´t finish them until now. Both pieces are also a part of my Crazy January Challenge so now I have 4 out of 15 finished.
Last night I finished this baby card for a friend of mine.
I have been working on Cindy´s RR and got her permission to do 2 parts instead of 1 and therefore complete her RR. I have already finished one part and will start the other one next week. Of course everything has to remain secret until the RR is back in the hands of it´s owner so no pictures just yet!
I also started 2 new HAED projects! Yeah I know I´m crazy! LOL! I´m not ready to post a picture just yet, I want to finish a little more before I do.
My second finish for the Crazy January Challenge 2011 is the Butterfly by Country Cottage Needlework. I had already finished the other 3 parts so it was about time I completed the series.
And here is the whole piece! Now I just need to find that perfect frame 🙂
I went to a summer cabin in Úthlíð this weekend with my 2 friends Hafrún and Sveina. My main goal for the weekend was to finish QS Red Poppy. Before the clock hit 3 on Saturday afternoon I did my happy-dance! She looks just gorgeous and I really loved working on her!
My weekend was very productive. I had another finish and the first one for Crazy January Challenge 2011. I left out the text that´s supposed to be under the house while I decide whether to stitch the English version or translate it to Icelandic.
Today I started my 15th and final project for Crazy January Challenge 2011! This has been so much fun and I would definitely do this again.
The one I started today is a part of the Garden Party series from Country Cottage Needleworks. I have already finished the other 3, ladybug, bumble bee and dragonfly. I thought it was about time to do the butterfly and complete the set.
Although I have 15 new WIP´s now which I´m eager to start working on, I have 2 older WIP´s I´m determent to finish first, QS Red Poppy and Petite House. I have so little left on both that I just can´t let them be!
As much as I hate snow I just love stitching snowmen. And of course I had to include one in my challenge. This one has 2 other fellows with him and I will turn this into a needle roll once finished. Guess I better not wait for too long as he seems so lonely all by himself!
