I know this post is long overdue 🙂
I am now working on Mini Myra again after 7 months pause. I just finished the background on her left and have now started stitching her arm
In March I went to London to meet my Facebook friends Jessica and Tami from USA. Together we went to a stitching show in Olympia and of course we also did some sight-seeing.
I did some shopping at the stitching show. I bought Michael Powell´s Place de Marché.
I already started it and I absolutely love it!
I recently finished a Soda Stitch piece called Tale of love in the grove.
Below are some WIP´s since we all love those 🙂
And at last here is a Soda Stitch piece I finished a long time ago but always forgot to post in here. It´s called Lover of Spring light.
Last weekend I went away with my 2 best friends to a summer cabin in Úthlíð. Needless to say we stitched the whole weekend away and of course had a lot of fun doing it 🙂 I mostly worked on the outlines of Mini Myra. I love working her like this and I can´t wait to start coloring her in! This is how far I got…
I have also been working on Romeo and Juliet lately but sorry no update just yet 🙂
I have been working on both A Princess is Born and Romeo and Juliet but I´m not ready to post a photo just yet. However I have 2 new HAED starts! I have not done that much but I wanted to show you anyway!
First is Mini Myra by Hannah Lynn. I decided to finish all the black outlines first and then fill in the colors.
Then there is Buttercup by Myka Jelina. I didn´t really like the yellow background so I asked for a background removal and I´m stitching her on a handdyed fabric from Silkweaver.
And last but not least I picked up an old WIP that I haven´t touched for a very long time. It´s a Mirabilia piece called Touching the Autumn Sky. I have been working on her on and off this month and she is coming along fine now. Maybe I will finish her this time around.
Here is what she looked like when I picked her back up.
And this is what she looks like now.
