I can see a dragon!

The dragon is finally appearing and I just love the way his eyes turned out. I will not be able to put her down now until she´s finished!

I will not be starting the HAED BB 2012 SAL until this one is finished. The piece I chose for the SAL is SK Blue Moon by Linda Rafenscroft. Can´t wait to show you the first update!

2011 in review

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2011 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

A New York City subway train holds 1,200 people. This blog was viewed about 7,400 times in 2011. If it were a NYC subway train, it would take about 6 trips to carry that many people.

A Princess is Born – first page done

After the never ending confetti I finally managed to finish the first page of A Princess is Born. I am so very pleased with all the details and I love the way the butterfly turned out.

FOF 88 and a new HAED start

YAY! Finally a new update of Faces of Faery 88. She is going so slow for some reason but she´s got both eyes now! Now I just need to finish her hair and then
I´m on to the cute purple dragon. Can´t wait!

OK I wasn´t going to buy or start another HAED until FOF 88 was finished.  But when I saw A Princess is Born by Hannah Lynn had been charted I just had to have it….and start it!!! It´s absolutely my favorite artwork by Hannah Lynn. I have only been working on it for 2 hours or so but I already love working on it.

More of Faces of Faery 88

Faces of Faery 88 is going great! The plan was to work on her other eye but somehow I started to work on her cheek and then the other cheek and so I just decided to finish them both along with her nose and mouth. Now I can´t wait to finish her other eye! :) She will be so pretty!

I will now go and put some more stitches into her :) Hopefully it won´t be long until she´ll have both her eyes!

Sveina´s Round Robin

I finished Sveina´s Round Robin in the end of July and gave it to her in mid August. She was thrilled with it and I think it looks amazing! Her theme was Scarecrows and I stitched her this cute scarecrow girl :)

And here is Sveina´s completed Round Robin.

I also finished Tami´s Round Robin and sent it off to Jessica. I will post a picture as soon as it gets back home to Tami.

Just a quick update of Faces of Faery 88. I have been working on her lately but need to put her down now to finish 2 more Round Robins. But here is what she looks like now.  I really can´t wait to pick her up again!

My Round Robin has returned home

I totally forgot to post pictures of my own Round Robin which returned home in late June. It only has 4 parts stitched out of 6 but 2 of my friends have asked me if they can finish it for me. So Yay!

I am so really happy with my Round Robin and I think it looks amazing. Thank you so much girls for all your hard work!

Cindy´s Round Robin

I heard from Cindy that she got her Round Robin back yesterday.  Her theme was Cute Christmas and yeah she totally loved it!

So I´m ready to post pictures of the 2 parts I stitched for her. First I stitched a Lickle Ted pattern from The World of Cross Stitching magazine. I think he turned out pretty cute :)

My first piece on Cindy´s RR

Then for the second part I chose this Somebunny to Love pattern also from The World of Cross Stitching. I think those 2 fellows turned out pretty cute too :)

And here is Cindy´s completed Round Robin, stitched by Cindy herself, Ruwani, Kathryn, Sveina and me. I think it looks amazing!

My 2 new HAED starts

I just want to share with you pictures of my 2 latest HAED starts. They are both by the same designer Jasmine Becket-Griffith. I´m totally in love with her designs and I have few other patterns by her that I will start working on later.

While on our holiday in June I started stitching Faces of Faery 88. I have only worked on her with 1 color but have already completed 2800 stitches.

In May I started working on Sienna Dragonling. I haven´t done that much but here is a picture anyway.

I have been busy lately stitching on Cindy´s RR. With Cindy´s permission I did 2 parts for her and therefore completed the RR. I posted it last week but haven´t heard if she has received it so I´m unable to post pictures just yet :)

Love one Another

I just finished this one last night but it still needs some buttons that I will have to special order later. Since this piece is a part of my Crazy January Challenge 2011 I have now 5 pieces out of 15 finished.

This and that

Like usual I have been stitching like crazy :D Sorry for the lack of blogging though!

Like I told you in my last blog entry I went to a cabin in the country side with my 2 best friends for a weekend of stitching. I love those weekends and of course we had the best time together. I worked on the 2 pieces below but didn´t finish them until now. Both pieces are also a part of my Crazy January Challenge so now I have 4 out of 15 finished.

Last night I finished this baby card for a friend of mine.

I have been working on Cindy´s RR and got her permission to do 2 parts instead of 1 and therefore complete her RR. I have already finished one  part and will start the other one next week. Of course everything has to remain secret until the RR is back in the hands of it´s owner so no pictures just yet!
I also started 2 new HAED projects! Yeah I know I´m crazy! LOL! I´m not ready to post a picture just yet, I want to finish a little more before I do.

And here comes Juliet

Page 4 of R&J is finally finished! It took me almost a month to complete and I thought for a while I would never made it! The endless confetti was making me crazy but now when I look at it it was all worth it.

Now I can´t make up my mind whether to start a new HAED project or keep going with this one. I feel I need a break from it but really don´t want to put it down! How is that possible ! :)

But first I´m going away for the weekend with 2 of my best friends. Whole weekend ahead of stitching and chilling :)

Here comes Romeo

After a very long break from Romeo and Juliet I decided it was time to pick it up again and finish another page. Few times though I was about to give up because the confetti was never ending. But then his face began to appear and I just could not put it down.
